Christmas at Smith Fisher
Friday - January 4, 2019 12:25 pm
On December 21st, in keeping with tradition, our attorneys prepared a Christmas feast for the entire Firm. The usual favorites were served together with Mark Smith’s version of retirement punch. Following lunch, and still reeling from the punch, we instituted a new “tradition” and staged the first annual Smith Fisher Minute To Win It competition for valuable prizes and bragging rights. Teams were drawn and participated in throwing ping pong balls, wrapping themselves in toilet paper, and blowing bubbles into toilet seat goals among other things. The competition was intense and rule following was questionable. The “yellow” team of Becky Maas, Michael Rogers and Desiree Scott took home the fabulous trophy under a cloud of protest. Next year we plan to hire a professional referee. At the end of the day, we held our annual Christmas gift exchange which was equally cutthroat. We have yet to figure out how Marc Lloyd always gets the best gift.
